Since our establishment in 1972, as a specialty chemical R&D contract research company, NARD Institute, Ltd. has been mainly engaged in two activities-the"synthesis of fine chemicals" and "development of functional materials"-to meet our clients'specific needs.
In addition, our subsidiary company, NARD Chemicals Ltd., based on the quality assurance system including GMPs and ISO 9002, has been providing trial chemicals and various types of products.

Specialized Areas

NARD Institute, Ltd.: CONTRACT RESEARCH, CUSTOM CHEMISTRY & PROCESS DEVELOPMENT
In contract manufacturing, we perform the following flexibly and intensively:
Development of process schemes, Optimization of process configuration,
Process condition setting and Engineering designs such as basic quality design.

As a concrete example, we can complete synthesis of a compound for which a synthetic approach has not yet been developed, or synthesis of compounds with special functions such as the denaturation of a polymer (including adhesives, paints, polymer films and others).

NARD Chemicals, Ltd.: CUSTOM MANUFACTURING
In response to such engineering designs from NARD Institute, Ltd., all our production, based on quality assurance, is performed accurately through close liaison between the production and technological departments (from several Kg to several tons in quantity).

Specialized Technologies

Various types of reactions, removal and purification techniques, and techniques for test analysis −all these have already been sufficiently accumulated to support specific reactions, such as photoreaction, ozone reaction, electrolysis reaction and others.

Metal Nanoparticles: we have successfully developed metal nanoparticles for nanotech material (copper, platinum, iron and other metals).

ublimation Purification Services: we have started contract purification services as the best purification method for organic EL materials.

Our quality assurance systems have been accomplished by the c-GMPs and the study drug GMPs under the manufacturer's license and by ISO9002 certification and other certifications (NARD Chemicals, Ltd. complies with FDA requirements).

Both NARD Institute, Ltd. and NARD Chemicals, Ltd. have already improved their own environment-related equipment, and equipment for disaster safety and sanitary affairs.
